Brightling Park Horse Trials are held in the beautiful Sussex parkland which surrounds the manor house, called Rose Hill when owned by John "Mad Jack" Fuller. The BETonSPORTS Brightling Park International Horse Trials, held on July 15 and 16, 2007,  marks the 22nd anniversary of the event.

Brightling Park Horse Trial entrants compete in three different phases: Dressage, Cross-country and Show Jumping.  Four different levels of riders are represented: Pre-novice, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.  In the past, over 400 horses have competed, many of which are from South East England.
