Richard Duckworth Dunn

Richard Duckworth Dunn was educated at Westminster and Oriel Cambridge before joining the 2nd Dragoon Guards (the Queen's Bays) and rising to Captain. He married Isabella Pallmer Massy-Dawson at Kingston Surrey on 2 Aug 1838. Isabella was the daughter of James Hewitt Massy-Dawson JP DL of Ballinacourtie, Tipperary, and Eliza Jane Dennis. Isabella was born 18 Jan 1818 and died at Kingston, Surrey (prob. Seething Wells) on 19 Jan 1860 aged 42.

Henry Stephen Fox-Strangways 3rd Earl of Ilchester

Henry Stephen Fox-Strangways, 3rd Earl of Ilchester PC (21 February 1787-8 January 1858), was a British peer and Whig politician.

Ilchester was the eldest son of Henry Thomas Fox-Strangways, 2nd Earl of Ilchester, and Mary Theresa O'Grady. He succeeded his father as third Earl of Ilchester in 1802 and took his seat in the House of Lords on his 21st birthday in 1808. In August 1835 Ilchester was appointed Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard (Deputy Chief Whip in the House of Lords) in the Whig administration of Lord Melbourne. He retained this post until July 1841 and was admitted to the Privy Council in 1837. Apart from his political career he also served as Lord Lieutenant of Somerset from 1837 to 1839.

Lord Ilchester married Caroline Leonora Murray, daughter of Lord George Murray, in 1812. He died January 1858, aged 70. Both his sons had predeceased him and he was succeeded in his titles by his half-brother William Thomas Horner Fox-Strangways.
