Sir Richard Bellingham Graham 10th Bart of Norton Conyers
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England . He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches. He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Graham, of Norton Conyers, co. York [E., 1662] on 2 June 1940. He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1953. He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1961. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1961. He was chairman of Yorkshire Insurance in 1964. He was chairman of Yorkshire TV between 1968 and 1982.
