Ambrose Isted was born before 1817. He married, firstly, Eleanor Elizabeth Stopford <p3781.htm>, daughter of Reverend Hon. Richard Bruce Stopford <p2908.htm> and Hon. Eleanor Powys <p3780.htm>, on 26 July 1832.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Frances Elizabeth Anson <p1327.htm>, daughter of Thomas Anson, 1st Viscount Anson <p1034.htm> and Anne Margaret Coke <p1034.htm>, on 10 September 1853. He died on 13 May 1881. Ambrose Isted lived in Ecton, Northamptonshire, England <pd135.htm>.1
